The OMSC Main, the seat of the administration that sits on 8.7 hectares of land in Labangan, San Jose, caters the highest population of students with a total of 9,956. It serves as the home of six Colleges offering 20 undergraduate programs, and three (3) graduate program: College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology, College of Business Administration, and Management, College of Criminal Justice Education, College of Engineering, School of Architecture, and School of Hospitality Management. The campus takes pride in its commendable performance in board examinations, particularly highlighting the Social Work program as a Top Performing School in its Licensure Examination.
OMSC San Jose serves as a training ground for aspiring educators, midwives, and IT professionals, and Basic Education Laboratory. As of recent, the campus has a total of 2,665 enrollees. While the campus consistently produces quality educators, it also takes pride in its commendable performance in the Midwives Licensure Examination, maintaining its status as a Top Performing School in the country, and as a bearer of the first Level IV accredited program – BSIT.
The OMSC Murtha, which is 15 kilometers away from the San Jose Campus, serves as the breeding ground of the 1,181 aspiring agriculturists and agroforesters who are fostered and nurtured by faculty members who are also expert in the field. The campus prides itself as the home of agro-forestry, animal husbandry, rice and vegetable production, and food processing center.
The OMSC Sablayan, the campus nearest to several tourist attractions in the province, was established by virtue of OMSC Board of Trustees Resolution No. 18 series of 2011. From its implementation June of the same year, the Campus’ enrollment data has continuously amplified with 3,242 in the recent record, along with faculty, and the number of programs.
At the capital of the province lies the OMSC Mamburao - formerly known as the Occidental Mindoro Community College. It is a one-hectare land in Mamburao Campus has now been extended to the opposite 10,000-square-meter lot to accommodate its ever-growing population of 3,224. At present, the campus offers four programs manned by dedicated instructors and professors. In 2024, the Campus has achieved the milestone of recording a Top 9 in LET-Elementary 2024.
Finally, the youngest campus in the island of Lubang. Instituted through a tripartite agreement in 2011 and operationalized in 2017 with an initial 124 students, the OMSC Lubang Campus has expanded its family with the following three programs: Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Operations Management. The Campus prides itself with a five-time consecutive 100% in LET-Elementary 2024. Today, the campus has a total of 667 students.

Flagship Programs and Research
Occidental Mindoro State College’s Research Agenda 2022-2027 is composed of seven themes comprising of various research priorities, as follows: 1) Tamaraw and other wildlife, 2) Agriculture, aquatic and natural resources, 3) Industry, energy and emerging technologies, 4) Disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation, 5) Inclusive education and educational reform, 6) Improving access to quality health and services, and 7) Inclusive nation building. The Extension and Technical Advisory Services Office offers technical advisory services based on the needs assessment, continuing education program for students and professionals, communication and information services in relation to the generation and dissemination of technologies and products in usable form and format, and techno-transfer for the generated technologies beneficial for the farmers, fishers, indigenous people and their households.
Occidental Mindoro State College and Philippine Carabao Center have an on-going project titled “Establishment of Mindoro Carabao Conservation and Nucleus Farm in Occidental Mindoro State College” headed by Mr. Elmer G. Ruedas, duly approved last 2023. This project also aimed to establish a Research Laboratory for Endangered Species in Mindoro Biodiversity Rescue and Conservation Center. For agricultural crops, the Institution has a tripartite project collaboration with Department of Science and Technology and Local Government Unit of San Jose, Province of Occidental Mindoro titled “Efficacy Trial of Various Levels of Liquid Metarrhizium anisoplae Against Army Worm in Selected Barangays of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro” by Dr. Garry L. Calitang and Mr. Benedicto R. Batiles, Jr. Another DOST-funded project is “Farm Management through Solar-Powered Automatic Drip Irrigation System for Onion and High Value Crops in Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro” led by Ms. Mary Yole Apple Declaro-Ruedas and Mr. Leo F. Sebastian.
In terms of extension services and training, the LEISA (Low-External Input Sustainable Agriculture) program of the College of Agriculture focuses on utilizing local resources to enhance farm productivity and aligns with the principles of ecological balance, economic viability, and social equity. The main goal of this is the adoption of LEISA practices by the farmers' cooperative in Occidental Mindoro through the Extension function of Occidental Mindoro State College, College of Agriculture aims to empower local farmers, improve their livelihoods, and contribute to environmental sustainability in the province.
The adoption of LEISA technologies for the farmers' cooperative in Occidental Mindoro is a promising initiative to address the challenges encountered by the local agricultural sector. By embracing sustainable practices, this program can enhance the well-being of farmers, protect the environment, and strengthen the agriculture economy in the province.
