Programs

We are dedicated to advancing agricultural higher education across Asia. We provide dynamic programs designed to bridge expertise, cultivate knowledge, and empower progress for our member institutions, faculty, and students. These initiatives foster a collaborative environment, driving innovation and shaping the future of agriculture throughout the region.

Our programs focus on key areas that are vital for educational advancement and professional growth. We facilitate vital exchanges among faculty and administrators, broaden students' academic and cultural horizons through exchange programs, and offer invaluable hands-on learning experiences through study tours. We also host international symposia for the essential exchange of research and ideas, run information drives to disseminate crucial data, and work on curriculum development to ensure modern and relevant education. Additionally, our textbook writing initiatives help build foundational knowledge for the next generation of agricultural leaders.

Faculty and Administrator Exchange

Bridging Expertise, Building Futures

Designed based on the expressed need of AAACU member institutions, faculty members and administrators of AAACU member institutions have the opportunity to visit and/or share experiences and expertise with their counterparts in another member institution. These exchanges create lasting relationships that often lead to future collaborations, mentorships, and most importantly, institutional alliances. AAACU serves as facilitator of this kind of exchange among its member institutions.

Student Enhancement Program (Study Tours)

Experiencing Excellence, Inspiring Innovation

The Student Enhancement Program (or Summer Program) is an annual activity orga-nized by the AAACU for undergraduate students in agriculture and agriculture-related disciplines. This exchange of students among member institutions provides global exposure for students in terms of cultural immersion and academic diversity. Member institutions get to host this annual event as part of its internationalization or mobility initiatives. Student participants are fully supported by AAACU while member institutions cover the student’s transportation cost as part of their support to the activity.

Seminars, Workshops, and Conferences

Converging Minds, Cultivating Knowledge

Member institutions get to propose topics relevant to agriculture education in for-mats they deem necessary: from interactive panels to breakout sessions, to mini conferences, etc. Member institutions which organize semi-nars/workshops/conferences can seek fund support from AAACU as a co-Organizer, providing access to experts, industry leaders, innovators, etc., or seek assistance for promotion/invitation/information dissemination to member institutions.

Biennial Convention and General Assembly

Shaping Tomorrow's Agricultural Leaders

The AAACU Biennial Conference is an eminent event that offers member institutions the opportunity for an extensive exchange of knowledge and information among themselves and other professionals. Sharing these practical experiences allows for more meaningful cross institutional collaboration leading to joint research, shared resources, and other collaborative initiatives. Attendance of member institutions to the Biennial Convention is fully supported by AAACU.

Publications

Foundations of Knowledge for Agricultural Advancement
