The Faculty of Animal Science at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) was officially established on November 10, 1969, evolving from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry. Its mission is to provide internationally recognized education in animal science and industry, guided by the principles of Pancasila, with a focus on the welfare of the Indonesian nation. The faculty plays a crucial role in agricultural education and research, offering programs that cover animal nutrition, production, breeding, and product technology.
